One of my daily staples is Protein Oats.
Often, if I haven’t had them for breakfast I’ll have them for afternoon tea! I change up my protein powder flavours – vanilla or lemon cheesecake, sometimes salted caramel and even chocolate later in the day. Delicious!
But you have to get the oats right. It will take a little trial and error, however this is my quick and simple way to get the yummiest protein oats you’ll ever eat!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Protein Powder
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Cover oats with water – just enough so they are all covered. My theory is a little more water is best as you don’t want your oats to dry out and become gluggy.
- Place in microwave for 1min. Stir, add more water if necessary. Return to microwave for 30secs.
- Stir and add protein powder (this is key – add the protein powder after you cook the oats). Add more water if your oats are not mixing well. Mix until combined and the consistency is to your liking.
